Account settings control your personal profile and preferences within DialNexa. These settings apply to your user account specifically, not to your workspace or organization. Access them at app.dialnexa.com → Settings → Account.

Profile Settings

Display Name

Your display name is shown in the dashboard, in audit logs, and in team member lists within workspaces you belong to. To update it:
  1. Go to Settings → Account → Profile
  2. Click the Display Name field
  3. Enter your preferred name (2-50 characters)
  4. Click Save
Your display name does not affect caller experience in any way - it is purely for dashboard identification.

Email Address

Your email address is used for login, billing notifications, and platform alerts.
1

Initiate the email change

Go to Settings → Account → Profile and click Change Email. Enter your new email address.
2

Verify the new address

DialNexa sends a verification link to your new email address. Click the link within 24 hours to confirm the change.
3

Confirm your identity

For security, you may be asked to enter your current password before the change is saved.
Once your email is changed, you must use the new address to log in. The old email will no longer work. Make sure you have access to the new email inbox before confirming the change.

Profile Picture

Upload a profile picture from Settings → Account → Profile → Avatar. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP. Maximum size: 2MB. The image is cropped to a circle for display.

Password Management

Changing Your Password

To change your password:
  1. Go to Settings → Account → Security
  2. Click Change Password
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter and confirm your new password (minimum 8 characters, must include a number and a special character)
  5. Click Save
Your active sessions are not invalidated when you change your password, but you will need to re-authenticate on new devices.

Resetting a Forgotten Password

If you can’t log in:
  1. Click Forgot password? on the login page at app.dialnexa.com
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Click the reset link in the email (valid for 1 hour)
  4. Set a new password
Use a password manager to generate and store a strong, unique password for your DialNexa account. Do not reuse passwords across services, especially for an account with access to telephony infrastructure.

Notification Preferences

Notifications control when and how DialNexa contacts you. Go to Settings → Account → Notifications to manage them.

Notification Types

Email vs. In-App

All notifications are available as in-app notifications (visible in the bell icon in the dashboard). Email delivery can be toggled per notification type. Security alerts are always delivered by both email and in-app - this cannot be disabled.

Session Management

Active sessions are all the browser and device sessions currently logged in to your account. To view and manage sessions:
  1. Go to Settings → Account → Security → Active Sessions
  2. Review the list: each entry shows the device type, browser, approximate location, and last activity time
  3. Click Revoke next to any session you don’t recognize
  4. Click Revoke all other sessions to log out of all devices except the current one
If you see a session from an unrecognized location or device, revoke it immediately and change your password. Contact support if you suspect your account has been accessed without authorization.

Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second verification step when logging in. This is strongly recommended for all accounts, especially those with admin or owner roles. To enable 2FA:
  1. Go to Settings → Account → Security → Two-Factor Authentication
  2. Click Enable 2FA
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.)
  4. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm setup
  5. Save your backup codes in a secure location
Store your 2FA backup codes somewhere safe. If you lose access to your authenticator app and don’t have backup codes, account recovery is a manual process that requires identity verification.

Account Deletion

To permanently delete your DialNexa account:
  1. Go to Settings → Account → Danger Zone
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Confirm by typing your email address
  4. Confirm your password
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All agents, phone numbers, call recordings, and transcripts are deleted. Pending wallet balance is forfeited unless you contact support before deletion to request a refund.
If you are the Owner of a workspace with other members, you must transfer ownership or delete the workspace before you can delete your account.
