Drafts are where campaigns can be boring on purpose. Boring before launch is cheaper than exciting after launch.
Before You Begin
Prepare a validated recipient file, tested agent version, assigned outbound number, schedule timezone, and retry policy. Confirm the workspace is ready for outbound calls.DialNexa Batch Draft Schedule And Launch Controls
These controls decide when calls begin.Prepare A Batch In Four Steps
The batch composer separates Details, Recipients, Schedule, and Review. Use the stepper to revisit available steps; a completed indicator means you have visited the step and satisfied its requirements.- In Details, name the batch and select the Agent, its Version, and the From number. The From number list shows the agent’s outbound numbers.
- In Recipients, complete the recipient-file review. Check the paginated preview, mappings, and validation results before continuing.
- In Schedule, choose Send now or a future date and time. Set retries and the interval. The Immediately interval option is stored as five minutes; it does not promise an instantaneous redial.
- In Review, check the recipient count, outbound number, agent, schedule, and retry summary. The final send action launches the batch or schedules it for the selected time. Merely opening Review does not launch it.
Review Recipients After Changing The Agent
Changing the selected agent or version while preparing a new batch or editing a draft requires another recipient review. Recheck column mappings, dynamic variables, optional name cleanup, and phone validation for the new selection. Finish the review before saving or starting the batch. The agent and version can change only while the batch remains a draft. Once it leaves draft, the version stays pinned and publishing the agent again does not change it. You can change the From number separately while the batch is draft, scheduled, or paused, as described below. To call recipients with a different agent after completion or cancellation, retrigger the batch and review the new batch.Review Before Starting
1
Check campaign name
Make it recognizable in Call History and exports.
2
Confirm selected number
Confirm the agent, version, and From number together.
3
Review recipient preview
Scan phone numbers and variable values.
4
Set retry count and interval
Retries can multiply call attempts.
5
Choose now or schedule
Make sure the start time matches operations coverage.

Treat started campaigns as live activity. Review drafts before launch.
Why is the selected number missing?
Why is the selected number missing?
Only numbers with outbound agent assignments are useful for batch calls.
Why does schedule matter?
Why does schedule matter?
Calling outside expected hours can hurt answer rates and customer experience.
Verify The Launch
Confirm the campaign moves to the expected status, the scheduled time uses the intended timezone, calls appear in Call History, and paused or cancelled controls behave correctly on a test campaign.Launch Troubleshooting
If the campaign does not start, check KYC, wallet balance, outbound number assignment, published agent version, schedule time, retry count and interval, recipient validation, and available workspace calling capacity. Multiple batches can run concurrently. A successful create request does not promise immediate dialing; schedule eligibility, preparation, and workspace capacity still apply.Change the From number
Use this when a draft, scheduled, or paused batch should call from another outbound number attached to the same agent.- If the batch is running or waiting, pause it and wait for its in-progress calls to finish.
- Open the batch controls and choose Change number.
- Select one of the agent’s outbound numbers. The existing selection is marked Current.
- Choose Use this number, then reopen the batch to verify the saved choice. Resume a paused batch only when ready.
