Music transcends boundaries and connects people in ways that words alone cannot. It serves as a universal language, allowing us to express emotions, tell stories, and share experiences.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>If you weren\u2019t making music, what would you be doing?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<ul>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Savannah:<\/strong> Clinical psychologist, something in marketing, or maybe acting. I\u2019m not quite sure.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Briony:<\/strong> Social worker.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/ul>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s the best advice you\u2019ve ever received?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<ul>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Savannah:<\/strong> Hard conversations = easy life. Easy conversations = hard life. This has taught me the importance of addressing issues head-on rather than avoiding them.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Briony:<\/strong> Rejection can be the greatest guidance of all. Their passion fuels our own creativity and pushes us to explore new avenues in our music.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s the next big thing?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Algae technology. Look into it. It\u2019s fascinating how this sustainable resource can impact various industries, including energy and food production, and we believe it will play a significant role in the future.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>Best club experience?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Poof Doof at The Ivy \u2013 our first show after lockdown. The energy was incredible. It felt like a reunion for everyone, and the atmosphere was electric, reminding us why we love performing live.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s the worst job you\u2019ve ever had?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<ul>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Savannah:<\/strong> A local caf\u00e9 in high school. I used to have nightmares because the boss was so scary and once called me incompetent in front of everyone. It was a tough learning experience.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Briony:<\/strong> A men’s clothing store in Australia (not naming names). The manager made me work with a bucket behind the counter while I was sick. It taught me the importance of standing up for myself.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/ul>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>How do you know when a track\u2019s finished?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t. It\u2019s a constant struggle between perfectionism and knowing when to let go. Sometimes, you just have to trust your instincts and move on.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What was your last day job and when did you realise you could give it up?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>After high school, we committed fully to music. We took every small club gig we could, lived paycheck to paycheck, and never looked back. It was a leap of faith that has paid off in ways we never imagined.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>Which song do you wish you wrote?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<ul>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Savannah:<\/strong> \\”Graceland\\” by Paul Simon. The storytelling and melody are timeless.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Briony:<\/strong> \\”Ribs\\” by Lorde. It captures such raw emotion and nostalgia.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/ul>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s the easiest way to make it in the music industry?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t stop until you do. Persistence is key. The industry is tough, but if you believe in your music and keep pushing forward, you\u2019ll find your place.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s the worst track you\u2019ve ever released?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll tell you our second worst because we couldn\u2019t handle it if you found the worst. Our song \\”Something More\\” is… cute. It was a learning experience, and we\u2019ve grown since then.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>Recommend us a film.<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<ul>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Savannah:<\/strong> <em>Shutter Island<\/em>. Look into it. It\u2019s fascinating how this sustainable resource can impact various industries, including energy and food production, and we believe it will play a significant role in the future.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>Best club experience?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Poof Doof at The Ivy \u2013 our first show after lockdown. The energy was incredible. It felt like a reunion for everyone, and the atmosphere was electric, reminding us why we love performing live.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s the worst job you\u2019ve ever had?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<ul>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Savannah:<\/strong> A local caf\u00e9 in high school. I used to have nightmares because the boss was so scary and once called me incompetent in front of everyone. It was a tough learning experience.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Briony:<\/strong> A men’s clothing store in Australia (not naming names). The manager made me work with a bucket behind the counter while I was sick. It taught me the importance of standing up for myself.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/ul>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>How do you know when a track\u2019s finished?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t. It\u2019s a constant struggle between perfectionism and knowing when to let go. Sometimes, you just have to trust your instincts and move on.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What was your last day job and when did you realise you could give it up?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>After high school, we committed fully to music. We took every small club gig we could, lived paycheck to paycheck, and never looked back. It was a leap of faith that has paid off in ways we never imagined.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>Which song do you wish you wrote?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<ul>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Savannah:<\/strong> \\”Graceland\\” by Paul Simon. The storytelling and melody are timeless.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Briony:<\/strong> \\”Ribs\\” by Lorde. It captures such raw emotion and nostalgia.<\/li>\n<p>\\n<\/ul>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s the easiest way to make it in the music industry?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t stop until you do. Persistence is key. The industry is tough, but if you believe in your music and keep pushing forward, you\u2019ll find your place.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s the worst track you\u2019ve ever released?<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll tell you our second worst because we couldn\u2019t handle it if you found the worst. Our song \\”Something More\\” is… cute. It was a learning experience, and we\u2019ve grown since then.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<h3>Recommend us a film.<\/h3>\n<p>\\n<\/p>\n<ul>\\n<\/p>\n<li><strong>Savannah:<\/strong> <em>Shutter Island<\/em>.
